UMass Design Building
Intended as a showcase example of integrated design that is expressive of today’s state-of-the-art wood construction technologies, the new four-story Design Building at the University of Massachusetts Amherst exemplifies the university’s commitment to sustainable and innovative design. Designed by Leers Weinzapfel Associates, the 87,200-square-foot building features an exposed glulam timber post and beam structural system with cross-
